Mission

The Defence Learning Innovation Support Centre (DLISC) provides a collaborative environment for training organizations from the DND to share resources and experiences in implementing innovative e-learning solutions. Our core business revolves around three key areas; course design and development, learning applications (EPSS’s) and R&D of emerging educational technologies. DLISC provides a team of learning consultants that are able to provide expert advice, guidance and assistance. The flexible environment and expertise provided by the Defence Learning Innovation Support Centre enables the development and demonstration of implementation of best practices and requirement driven solutions while addressing the e-learning needs of the department.

Mr. Bill Railer, Director As Director of Learning Concepts and Experimentation, Mr. Bill Railer promotes the development and adoption of new learning concepts, methodologies and solutions. He is also responsible for the implementation of global e-learning standards within the Department of National Defence (DND).
